Cars can be driven by magnets?

Magnets have a magnetic field. If two magnets are put into a large car, and their magnetic fields repel, that energy couldnt be used in any way to drive a car? It is clear that magnetic fields attract or pull (out). I would hope that if the magnets were big enough, could somehow use that energy and propulsion of a vehicle and would have zero emmisions. Or I guess you could use a small motor to push the magnets back and forth to creat this energy. Does this make sense?

The basic mistake is to think that magnetism is an energy source free. It is not. You'd be using magnets as only non-contact springs. The linear induction motors use magnetic fields to transfer energy from a power of origin to a vehicle, but not free energy.
