Why automobile registration is costly in Bangalore, compare to other cities?
While buying a vehicle in India, say motor-cycle or a car, the registration amount is very huge in Bangalore when compare to New Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad etc..
[ e.g., In Chennai, the registration amount for a Hyundai-i20 is Rs. 44,816. The same in Bangalore it is Rs. 80,067 ]
Does anybody know why it is costly in Bangalore? Other than Bangalore, which other cities are costly in this matter?
Also I want to know how they are calculating this registration amount? Is there any standard formula for this?
