i have a 2 ton hydraulic service jack that willnot lift automobile?

in the lift postion the jack will slowly leak downward.when lfting an load

Check the piston for signs of fluid. Most likely , the seal is worn
and will need replacement.

If the cylinder is pitted at all, your best bet is to look for a new one.

If it’s a name brand, try a new seal kit, but never take the chance

of getting under a vehicle without jack stands.
