a Co-Signer and a House Buyer?

Can I co-sign for someone who wants to finance a new automobile and buy a house probably 2-3 years later? Will they deny me the ability to buy a house if I was still to be a co-maker at that time?

You can as long as the person you are co-signing for makes all of their payments on time.
When you co-sign – late payment for them = late payment for you, which can impact your ability to purchase a house.

Personally, I would never co-sign for anyone. There is a reason they need a co-signer, and it is usually because they don’t pay their bills on time.
