HELP ME Compare Mazda 3 5d Hatchback with the HONDA Fit!?

I’ve been in love with the Mazda 3 for a while. Its perfect for me right now and Im able to get a brand new 2008 for only 15k. But my dad wants me to come with him to look at the Honda fit since his close friend works at the honda dealership.

Now personally I just like the look of the Mazda 3 better, but thats the only excuse I have going for me since the Honda Fit is cheaper.

Can anyone tell me any reasons why the Mazda 3 is worth the price!??

You’ll have more room in the Mazda, but the fuel economy will be better in the Honda. Check out the safety rating of both cars, I know the Mazda3 does very well in it’s class.

I’ve had several models from both makes and reliability is the same on both models. I had over 90k absolutely trouble free miles on my previous Mazda Protege5 before it got stolen. If I still had it, it would probably be over 200k by now.

Both cars are in their last year of the current body style, so if you want to wait, you can get a newer (but more expensive) model. Even thought the Fit has only been here a couple of years, it’s been selling in Japan for over 4. This should be the last year of the Mazda3 since they have been making the Mazdaspeed3 for two years. They normally only have the Mazdaspeed versions out for the last year or two of each model.
