how can i make a car faster and perform better?

im a noob when it comes to automobiles. im getting an acura rsx and i would like to add money to make it faster what can i do to improve the speed and make it like a tokyo drift car? besides getting a body kit

The body kit will actually make it slower.

Intake, exhaust, reduce unsprung weight, add displacement, force in more oxidizer/fuel.
